There is a spiritual awakening happening within this community.  God is at work behind the scenes stirring up passion and cultivating hunger within the hearts of believers all over this city.  God is calling out to the sincere, to the searching, to those who know there is something more than what they have experienced!

God is reaching into churches all over Doniphan and He is whispering into their spirits and creating desire.  Make no mistake it’s happening all around us whether we realize it or not, and God is starting the process of merging His church into one singular, unified movement!  God is in the process of merging flocks and bringing His people together.  People from every race, tongue, tradition, religious background, and denomination!  It’s happening right now!  Jesus talked about the merging church in the gospel of John.

John 10:16

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 

We realize there is an ecumenical movement at work in the world right now that is trying to get us to forget our differences and wants us to embrace Mohammed, and Buddha, and all the other faiths that don’t believe in Jesus.  There is an attempt being made to equate these religions as merely alternative routes to get to heaven.  But let me very quickly distance myself from that antichrist spirit that is preaching pluralism and the theology that God will become whoever you worship!  If that doctrine was sound, then why would God have sent the Prophet Elijah to the top of Mt. Carmel to face off against the prophets of Baal?  Why wouldn’t He have just taken on the identity of Baal and had a community service on top of the mountain?  Why did He get angry when the children of Israel worshipped Asteroth, Molech and Dagan?  And why did he have such a problem with idolatry calling it an abomination and lumping in with the sins of the unrighteous who will not inherit the kingdom of God.  The answer is very simple and it’s found in Acts 4:12.

Acts 4:12

12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Jesus is our only Savior!

Isaiah 43:10-11

10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

 

Galatians 1:8-9

8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

The gospel is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ!  But there is a religious sounding movement that will partner with the one world government that will produce a false prophet.  A world church that Revelation 17 identifies as the mother of harlots!

Revelation 17:3-6

3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.  4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:    5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMI-NATIONS OF THE EARTH.  6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.

When we speak about the merging church we are obviously not talking about that one!  But even in the midst of this satanic and perverse world wide religious gathering of apostates, there is another movement in the making and a call is going out into the spirit realm that is going to produce a world wide gathering of Apostles and the greatest revival this world has ever experienced.  John the revelator wrote about this movement as well in Rev 18:4.

Revelation 18:4

4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

God is forging together a last day church.  He’s calling to his sheep from the four corners of the Earth and they are beginning to merge together into one flock.  He said in John chapter 10, my sheep hear my voice and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.  And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.  John said, he that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the church.  Can you hear it?  Can you feel it?  God is culling out his people!
